BOPL Broad Band Over Power line

The sad demise of 27mhz is what we make of it, again the more things appear to change the more they remain the same. I’m wondering if Broad Band Over Power line BOPL was even thought of when the "Yuppie" uhf citizen band radio band was introduced, I think not!

BOPL broadband, if it can be made to work, would be a wonderful advantage not only to all Australians who live in the so-called bush but also to the big smoke residents as well. Maybe Australia doesn’t ride on the sheep’s back anymore but the bush can survive with out CBD but the CBD and its environs would not survive without the bush.

I’m a bushy by heart but I only live 100 kms out of the CBD 10 km from suburbia and some of the most expensive real estate here on the Morning ton Peninsular in Victoria and I cant get broadband via the normal conventional means (thanks to the Government for selling and the share holders of Telstra for buying what was an integral part of daily life of all Australians) so I’ve installed a satellite broadband at a considerable monthly cost but as this part of my “radio hobby” and has almost replace my telephone and the need to travel considerable distances to enjoy the normal things such as daily news paper, local news and events, and to some dismay advertising by local business all things that are normal in suburbia, I look forward to the introduction of Bolp soon rather than later.

Maybe instead of complaining about the, at present interference that is associated with BOPL some bright spark could invent a filter that disperser’s the interference to an acceptable level???

Further, the speed that technology is being introduced and updated who knows in a flash the problem may not even exist but I’m sure 11meters + the 0-30mhz bands will still be there provided it's being used regardless of whether its being abused MAKING IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE GOVERNMENT CANT SELL IT.
