Generous This fine example
Generous
This fine example of generosity is yet another example of why the 27 MHz community is such a close and tight knit one. At a time when the economy is on the back foot, here's a guy who is still willing to dip into his own pocket and outlay close on 1000 bucks worth of prizes for the OC Contest.
Slaps on the back for you OM.

Syncro Support
G'day Peter and all,
Yes, each year the YL, kids and I drive up the Coast to visit Jos and he fills the car with prizes for the Contest. One small complaint I have is that we always struggle fitting all the stuff in our car ;-) Maybe next year, we hire a truck or a ute to carry the load lol.
I have been trying to convince Jos for the past couple of years to set up a big yagi and make a Bed and Breakfast station for DXers but he hasn't taken the bait yet hehe. The property up in the hills near Melaney is beautiful and we always look forward to driving up for the visit.
I agree, Pete. We're lucky to have his generous support.
