Shack Renovations Required
There comes a time in a DXer's life when his radio shack becomes, dark, drab and uninviting. Theoretically, this is when you can put to the test your other skills besides being a exceptional DX caller - your skills as an interior designer! Problem is though that as an interior designer I make one helluva DXer.
Lighting, benches, internet, paint, carpet, pictures on the wall, curtains and more... Tell me men, what other comforts could I add to my DX haven to make it a more inviting place; a sanctuary for my hobby existance? A place where I can also invite young ladies back to show them my knobs (radio of course)?
Well, after learning a lesson or two about bringing YL's home, getting totally smashed on big nights out and disappearing for days on end, I finally crawled back home gaining the garage as a place to spend time sleeping and DX'ing until my heart's content.
BAH! But what an ugly, lifeless place! Please help me with some ideas which I can use to give the new shack some oomph!
