Bright Sparks — The Quiz for Freeband DXers

Submitted by Admin 2 on Thu, 2008-05-22 21:20.

If the human brain is 80% water than some might say the Freeband DX World is in one helluva drought given that no one could successfully answer ‘Question 1’ in the most recent ‘Bright Sparks DX Quiz’. The question must be asked, therefore, “What the hell is going on guys?” Despite offering a prize of free OC Contest QSL cards to any site super sleuth, no one could successfully recall the name of three 11m radio contests originating from and played out in the Oceania region in 2007. Given that ‘11m DX Activities Oz’ actually administers the Oceania Contest, how hard was it to name two more? Like……the Mountain Radio Challenge (MRC)……or International Radio’s Kiribati Island Challenge. Everyone stop reading now and give yourselves an uppercut for a wasted opportunity to claim 50 of the best QSL cards available in 11m DX history!
Let’s just hope the brain’s sprinkler system is working THIS time and we see 20 correct answers! Good luck!
