An exciting Special Event Station (SES) titled 173SD/MF2008 is set to get underway in a matter of hours, dedicated to Miss Valérie Bègue, a gorgeous 22 year old Reunion Island local, who was recently crowned Miss France 2008.

A stunning model with angelic looks, Miss Bègue was recently caught up in a scandal over prints of her suggestively eating yogurt and reclining on a crucifix in a bikini were published in a gossip magazine. Although the raunchy pics continue to be worshipped by members of the male community, the provocative photo shoot angered organisers of the beauty pageant who ordered the newly-crowned Miss France 2008 to hand back her sash and crown immediately.

Pageant officials were said to be infuriated that Miss France had not disclosed the photos’ existence as required by contest rules. The curvaceous sex goddess argued, however, that she did not give permission for the images to be published in the first place and therefore refused to hand back her crown.

Apparently, the scandalous snapshots were part of an ad campaign that Miss France 2008 shot three years ago while still a college student, a point she successfully argued to organisers who overturned their original decision and let the dazzling beauty keep her crown.

One of the few SES on 11m in recent times, 173SD/MF2008 will conclude on 31.12.2008 giving members of the Freeband DX Community plenty of time to work the station and collect the thought provoking QSL card.
