Australasian radio communications supplier, Yeti Communications Worldwide Ltd, has once again thrown its considerable weight behind the 2008 Oceania Contest, donating a fabulous Magnum S-9 transceiver for one lucky DXer. ‘11m DX Activities Oz’ is proud to announce that every Oceania transmitting station who submits a log in the 2008 event will automatically go into the draw for this outstanding prize, with the winner drawn on March 2, the day after logs are due!

Regarded as a top quality mobile transciever for CB radio or 11m DX enthusiasts, the Magnum S-9 covers 25MHz to 29 MHz and drives an impressive 40 watts. Other specs include a 6 digit frequency counter, selectable 5 or 10 kHz resolution, RF gain and microphone gain controls, high gain 5 element noise blanker and more!

“This may help convince people to submit logs,” says Dave Donaldson, owner of Yeti Communications. “It will make it open to ALL, not only the big guns who happen to be sitting in the right spot at the right time!”
