It's amazing how after a good year of almost no propagation into Europe, that the first time we get an opening, there are enough stations there to create pileups all over the place.

When CB radio was given a niche on 11m the ham radio protested at having what was previously one of their frequencies taken away. Perhaps they thought it was the thin edge of the wedge from the reviled CBers.
